I used DispatchRay as a middleman to transport my car cross-country who posted my job online and coordinated with the long-haul truckers. I've been looking for a site like this since 1dispatch quit. This is the best way to line up a transporter and shipper. Ray is the real deal. He knows the auto transport business as well as the LTL freight business. He arranged to move my inoperable 1965 TR4A from CA to WV for hundreds of dollars less, and got it done faster than other brokers could. A lot of other auto transport brokers want an upfront sizable deposit. Then your car sits while they shop the load, looking for the least expensive transport (trucking) company to maximize their profit. Ray posts your car on the board where both auto transport and LTL (Less Than full Load ) carriers can find it and bid. My inoperable project car was better suited to fill out a load on a flatbed tractor trailer than your typical auto transport trailer. Ray found the right carrier and it worked out great. I will call Ray first for my next move.
